On Tuesday, we'll do practice speeches starting with the 2AC. 2ACs and 2NCs will need to extend 1AC/1NC evidence and answer the other team's arguments. 1AR-2NR will extend and answer as well. You'll have a little bit of prep time before each speech, but only enough to pick cards and write responses, so it's really important that you've read the evidence thoroughly before lab and decided how you would use each card in the debate on either side. You should also prioritize which cards you would want to read based on the following speech time constraints: 2AC: 1.5 minutes, 2NC: 3 minutes, 1AR: 1 minute, 2NR: 1 minute, 2AR: 1 minute.
